Organizational Carbon Footprint Reports

Dispersions and Resins Sp. z o.o. (D&R) is committed to transparency in managing our environmental impact. As part of our sustainability strategy, we publish Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reports.

Scope 1 covers direct emissions resulting from our own operational activities, such as the combustion of fuels in facilities, vehicles and production processes. Scope 2 covers indirect emissions related to the purchase of electricity, heat and other energy carriers that are necessary to run our business.

Since 2024, our reports have also included Scope 3, which covers other indirect emissions generated throughout the entire value chain – both in processes related to the supply of raw materials and services, as well as in the further use of our products. Scope 3 includes emissions from transport and distribution, processing and disposal of sold products, business travel, employee commuting, and waste management. Including these emissions in our reporting allows us to assess our environmental impact more comprehensively and define reduction measures more effectively.

Our reports are published voluntarily to provide our stakeholders with reliable information on our carbon footprint, confirming our commitment to minimizing our impact on the climate.

At D&R, we continually strive to optimize our production and operational processes to effectively reduce emissions and contribute to global environmental protection efforts.

As part of our emission reduction strategy, D&R has set specific environmental goals that reflect our long-term commitment to minimizing our impact on the climate. We have committed to reducing the emission in Scope 1 and 2 (market-based) by 50% by 2030, compared to the 2021 baseline year.

In Scope 3 (upstream), we aim to achieve a 30% reduction in emissions by 2030, compared to the 2024 baseline year. Additionally, our goal is that by 2040, at least 50% of the energy used by D&R will come from renewable sources. The achievement of these targets will be supported by investments in energy efficiency, low-emission technologies, and sustainable supply chain management.

Our ambitious emission reduction targets have been officially validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), confirming their alignment with the latest scientific knowledge and our genuine commitment to minimizing our climate impact.
